Super Smoothies with Apple Cider Vinegar

Smoothies are a great way to add fruity, fibrousy, vitaminy goodness to your day. When they also contain greens and veggies, you're giving your body a substantial health boost, but if you really want to knock it out of the park, make your smoothie a Super Smoothie by adding Apple Cider Vinegar! 


The fresh taste of smoothies is the perfect camouflage for ACV's powerfully acidic zing, and it's a great way to sneak in that extra dose of probiotics, too! This Pear and Ginger Smoothie is one of our favourites, but there are a few other ideas here to make your daily ACV moment a Eureka! moment. 


Without further ado, enjoy these Super ACV Smoothies!

Pear and Ginger Zinger

You'll need:

  • 1 pear, stemmed, cored and chopped into wedges
  • 2 oranges, peeled, seeded and divided into segments
  • 1 small avocado, or 1/2 of a large avocado
  • 2 kale leaves, roughly chopped
  • 8 tbsp vanilla-flavoured non-dairy milk
  • 4 tbsp raw cashews (soaked for 2-4 hours, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 thumb of minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp ACV
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 tbsp water
  • ice cubes


  • Blend all of the ingredients, except the ice, in a food processor
  • Add the ice cubes
  • Blend until smooth and enjoy!

Berry Blast

You'll need:

  • 1 tbsp ACV
  • 1 pear, peeled and cored
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 2 cups water


Blend until smooth, and enjoy! 

Banana, Blueberry and Cinnamon Moment

You'll need:

  • 70gr kale or spinach
  • 25g frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 thumb minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp ACV
  • 150g non-dairy yoghurt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 120ml water


Blend all of the ingredients until smooth, and enjoy ASAP.

Cucumber and Kale Concoction

You'll need:

  • 1/2 apple, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 1/2 pear, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3/4 cup kale, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, seeded
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 tbsp ACV


Blend until smooth and enjoy!
